Trajectory

With over 18 years of professional experience working with dogs, I’m Danye, and my journey began as a veterinary technician and hospital manager. However, my passion for behavioral health led me to become a full-time dog trainer and behavior consultant. I’m deeply committed to improving the lives of dogs through training. Did you know that the #1 cause of death for dogs in the U.S. is euthanasia, and the primary reason for this is behavioral issues? This is why I do what I do. My goal is to save as many dogs as I can by addressing behavioral problems and strengthening the human-dog bond through positive reinforcement training. Mental health, for both dogs and humans, plays a vital role in overall well-being, yet it is often overlooked, even within the veterinary community. When dogs are mentally and physically fulfilled, and they trust their humans, incredible transformations happen. A happy, safe dog has the unique ability to make us feel the same way.

Through positive reinforcement, I help create lasting bonds between dogs and their owners, leading to healthier, happier relationships for life. Every dog deserves a chance to thrive, and I’m dedicated to making that happen for as many as I can. I have a special love for working with special needs dogs, including those that are deaf, blind, or tripod. One of the most rewarding experiences in my career was training my SharPei/Heeler mix, Pigye Shea. Pig was born deaf and had already been in two homes before I was asked to rescue her. Within two weeks, she had mastered basic obedience using hand signals alone, creating a bond that lasted for 10 wonderful years until her passing. I used to say, "My deaf dog listens better than any other dog, and she can’t hear a word I say." I’m here to help every dog live their best life, and together, we can make that happen!
