Mike’s journey in the dog world began at an early age, growing up surrounded by the rich traditions of dog shows and field trials. By the age of 14, he found his true calling in the field trial arena, where his natural talent and dedication quickly became evident. He began assisting his uncle at *Chickasaw Goldens*, an AKC-historic kennel renowned for its high standards and championship bloodlines. There, Mike played a key role in training Golden Retrievers to earn prestigious Master Hunter titles and consistently pass Senior Hunt Tests—an achievement that speaks to his skill, patience, and deep understanding of canine behavior. In his early 20s, Mike expanded his expertise to the realm of working dogs, developing a strong passion for training Military Working Dogs, patrol dogs, and personal protection dogs. This transition into high-drive, high-stakes training environments showcased his versatility and commitment to excellence.
